Commerce Minister Chipoka Mulenga says the partial access to pension funds will help increase liquidity in the economy and spur investments.
Mr Mulenga said the move will see banks having enough liquidity for citizens to borrow.
Appearing on a special Sunday Interview program on ZNBC last night, Mr Mulenga noted that partial withdraw of pension benefits will make Zambians find it easy to partner with foreign investors when they put their monies together.
And Mr Mulenga said government has made vital strides in getting the economy back on track.
He said this is evident from the stability in the financial sector and ease of doing business.
