Mufulira Leopards have humbled Diggers in the final to win the 2022 Mabanga 7 Aside Rugby Tournament hosted by Kansanshi Rugby Club in Solwezi on Saturday l.
Winners Leopards defeated Diggers 7- 17 in the main cup final played at Independence Stadium in Solwezi.
In the semi-finals, Leopards beat league champions Red Arrows 26-12 while Diggers beat hosts Kansanshi 14-7.
Arrows B side won the Plate and Arrows Women scooped the feminine category of the Mabanga Competition.
Leopards received K9,000 as top prize money and runners up Diggers got K6,000.
Meanwhile, Leopards are now preparing to host the Mufulira Sevens in the first week of November
