Ntonongela Art paintings proprietor, Chilufya Ntonongela, has called on people talented in art paintings to organize themselves, set up clubs to get empowerment funds and boost their business.

Mr Chilufya said as Government promotes skills trainings and entrepreneurship through the Constituency Development funds (CDF), they should also empower people in art paintings.

Mr Chilufya of Chingola said Art business, if well realised and promoted can be sustainable and may create employment.

He said art painters should also be confident in painting business because it needs to be promoted so others can embrace it.

Mr Chilufya said art painting brings out creativeness but it is about passion and those who have no passion for it would not endure the challenges it comes with.

“We should not wait for someone to promote our skills, if you are good with pencils just go on and draw with your heart, don’t wait for someone to tell you that I think you are good at drawing,” he said.

Mr Chilufya said art painting business is slow and require patience but it is a good business once promoted.

“The people with potential should take real interest and peruse this profession,” he said.

Mr Chilufya has pursued Arts and English at Honey College though he has not yet completed due to other circumstance and wishes to complete. He was inspired by Jesse art from Kalulushi.
