Computer Science Teachers Association of Zambia(COSTAZ), says there is need for government to provide more computers and teachers to correctional facilities not only in southern province but country wide.
Speaking during the 2022 national conference in Livingstone, COSTAZ president Peter Mulenga, said that the conference was attended by over 270 teachers of computer science/studies and administrators from ten provinces. He said this is in line with Government’s emphasis of information and communication technology being an enabler and wheels of the economy.
“Government must provide more computers and deploy more teachers in correctional facilities countrywide, “he said.
Mr Mulenga said that Government should have a heart for the visually impaired and prayed that they should be recognized as teachers of computer studies. He added that there is need to motivate the visually impaired learners so that they from learning ICT.
