Three Chinese nations arrested for unlawful imprisonment

Three Chinese nationals have been apprehended by police for allegedly beating and unlawfully imprisoning two workers at their company.

The Chinese nationals, who are owners of Yundar Investment in Chinika area, were picked together with another worker, who is a Zambian.

This came to light when Labour Commissioner, Givens Muntengwa inspected the company premises.

Mr Muntengwa described the development as cruel.

He also learnt that workers at the company do not have personal protective clothing and are working without contracts.
