Four-hundred and ninety-six candidates have been selected as successful applicants to undergo training as census enumerators in Chingola.
The census exercise is scheduled for August 14, 2022 to September 18, 2022.
Chingola District Commissioner Raphael Chimupi said Chingola has concluded on the selection process for enumerators and supervisors who will undergo training at Mukuba University for 10 days.
He said the exercise received an overwhelming response of over 3000 applicants and out of which 496 have been picked successfully.
“Successful candidates have been picked and the number of the Tablets which was used for aptitude tests was 450 so people were put in groups and the last group finished around 16:00. The 496 candidates selected has both supervisors and enumerators,” he said.
The list of successful applicants has been stuck at the DCs Office.
