KPF go top in Rugby League

KPF have opened a one point lead at the top of the National Rugby League table despite losing their latest game at the weekend.

KPF lost 6-0 to Diggers in the Kitwe derby at home but earned a bonus point that moved them to 42 points from ten matches played.

Diggers stayed third on the table on 41 points and second placed Red Arrows were equally on 41 points.

Arrows’ weekend fixture against Lusaka was postponed.

In other games, Mufulira Leopards beat Konkola 41-3 with Eagles edging Ndola Wanderers 69-0.

Leopards, Green Eagles, Lusaka, Konkola and Ndola are all in the bottom five of the league.
