Kapisha road to be upgraded

Nchanga Member of Parliament Derricky Chilundika says Government has allocated over K5.1 million towards the construction of Kapisha road to bituminous standards under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).

Mr Chilundika said Kapisha road is a busy road used by various business people that is why it has been among the major projects to be worked on under CDF.

The MP who is also Luapula Province Minister said under CDF all health facilities in his constituency will have boreholes.

“Under CDF we will also complete the construction of classroom blocks at Nchanga school of Excellency this will be done to compliment Government’s free education policy,” he said.

The MP was speaking yesterday when he visited Nchanga UCZ and Kabundi UCZ were he donated K5,000 cash towards the building of another Nchanga UCZ church and paving at Kabundi UCZ.

Mr Chilundika also donated 100 pockets of tile fix at St Steven Catholic Church towards the construction of an administration block as well as K5, 000 cash.
