PRESIDENT HICHILEMA HAPPY WITH WORKS DONE BY MY HOME TOWN IN CHOMA – UPND MP

UPND Mbabala Member of Parliament, Joseph Munsanje has said President Hakainde Hichilema is happy with the work of My Home Town in Choma.

Munsanje addressed the crowd of Mbabala residents that received the committee of My Home Town led by its founder and multinational businessman, James Ndambo.

He commended My Home Town for giving people of Maubwe and Hampwaye among other villages with clean water, hammermills, cattle and ploughs to support their agricultural activities.

Munsanje explained that the clean water and farming inputs that the organisation is giving communities is supporting household food security.

He has since thanked Mr Ndambo and challenged the beneficiaries of the empowerment from My Home Town to use the donations effectively to develop the communities.

Meanwhile, My Home Town Media Coordinator, Owen Miyanza says the organisation seeks to empower rural communities to become self-reliant and attractive.

Miyanza told Journalists in Choma that the organisation also wants to ensure people are protected from waterborne diseases.

He added that My Home Town will not fold its hands and watch while people are in need.
