Two school leavers of Hachiinda village of Mbabala Constituency have been given an opportunity of a lifetime to study any course of their choice abroad courtesy of My Home Town Organization.
The organization’s Founder, who is also Chairman of Africa Union Holdings Group of Companies, James Ndambo tasked the church to identify two candidates for the start to study abroad.
Mr Ndambo made the offer on Sunday when he handed over Hachiinda New Apostolic Church that he built for the community.
The church is also fitted with a solar powered borehole to provide clean water to the community.
Meanwhile, Mr Ndambo states that the idea is to provide opportunities and make rural communities attractive to discourage people from rushing to urban areas in search of greener pastures.
And residents of Mbabala have continued to thank Mr Ndambo for quickly coming to their aid, especially during the floods that destroyed houses and crops last year.
Allan Muchindu Chabala recalls how My Home Town helped locals with seed, fertilizer and other farming implements after what locals describe as the worst floods in the region.
