60 Junior golfers from Kalumbila took part in a one day junior golf tournament at Kalumbila Golf club.

The tournament attracted junior golfers from near by communities.
The tournament organized by FQM Trident limited was aimed at identifying talent among the girls and boys.
And FQM Trident limited assistant General Manager Junior Keyser said the mine is working hard to ensure golf is developed starting with the juniors.
Mr Keyser said the idea is to bring the sport of golf closer to the young people and will help install discipline in them.
He said the assistant General Manager has reaffirmed company commitment to support the annual junior golf tournament which started last year 2021.
Gabriel khumalo scooped the first overall winner , Tinovimba Muzinda second overall and Abraham Mukaso as the third overall in category A after finishing 18 holes.
Others where Xholani Nhlani first overall, Emmanuel Zulu second overall and Nathan Kumanda who scooped third place overall in category B after finishing 3 over par.
While Logan Harrison first overall, Nicolas cuyler second overall and Ruben de wet third overall in category C after finishing 3 over par.
