PF Sinda Member of Parliament Masauso Tembe has been arrested for alleged forgery of National Registration Card and Grade twelve certificate.
Police Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga said police arrested Mr Tembo of plot number 17 Kaleza Township on allegations of Forgery and Uttering false Documents.
Mr Hamoonga said brief facts of the matter are that between 2015 and 2021 at unknown time, month and date,it is alleged that the suspect did forge a National Registration Card and uttered it before the Electoral Commission of Zambia as a qualification for him to stand as Member of Parliament for Sinda Constituency.
He said Mr Tembo has been since officially charged and arrested for one count of Forgery Contrary to the Laws of Zambia and two counts of Uttering a false Document.
He has been released on police bond and will appear in court soon.
