A-25- year- old-Man of Kalumbila has been arrested for allegedly defiling his eight year old cousin and two of her elder cousin’s kids.
North Western Province Deputy Commissioner of police Doctor Fred Mulenga confirmed that the mother to the victims, reported that her daughters aged 7 and 5 years, and her young sister aged 8 years were defiled from her house by her cousin Shadrick Mumba 25.
Dr Mulenga said facts of the matter are that Esther muzaza 24, of Lumwana east on April 12, 2022 around 15:00hrs went to the maize field within Lumwana East and left her two daughters and young sister, in care of her cousin that she resides with.
He said when she returned back from the field at around 18:00 hours, as she was bathing her young sister she noticed some blood coming out from her Private part.
“She then asked what happened to her and the girl disclosed that Shadrick Mumba had carnal knowledge with her and she further disclosed that he had carnal knowledge with other two juveniles,” he said.
Dr Mulenga also said that all the victims sustained painful private parts and general body pains
He said three Dockets of defilement cases have been opened and the man is arrested.
Dr Mulenga said his command will not sit idle and condone defilers bent on damaging the pretty future of this great nation, “he said.
He has urged parents living with girls and Boys in homes to be security conscious monitor every step.
