Former Bupalo ward Councillor Nelius Mumba resign from PF

Former Patriotic Front Bupalo ward Councillor Nelius Mumba has resigned from the party as he wants to further is political career away from the PF.

Mr Mumba has also resigned from his position as Nchanga constituency youth chairman with immediate effect.

The Former Councilor was one of the influential Councillor that addressed community concerns especially in his ward.

He constructed a market at Luano B and foot bridges among other project using his own mobilized resources and initiative to help his people in the ward.

The only councilor to have Purchased an hearse for his ward to use and also facilitated the opening of kings clinic

Mr Mumba said the resignation is personal as he wishes to further his political ambition away from the former ruling party.

In his letter dated April 8, addressed to both district and constituency chairperson he thanked the party for having entrusted him with the youth chairmanship in Nchanga Constituency.

“I cherish the time an opportunity I was given to preside over the residents of Bupalo from 2016 to 2021, it was an exceptional opportunity and I remain grateful to the party and the membership of the Patriotic Front,” part of the resignation letter read.

Mr Mumba who also stood as an independent Mayoral candidate in the August elections has since wished the PF party members well as they continue to rebrand the Patriotic Front.
