Solwezi Mayor Remmy Kalepa has called on more cooperatives to take advantage of the current Government’s deliberate policy to promote entrepreneurship within its citizenry in order to foster development in Solwezi district.
Speaking during the official launch of Zangena Capital Limited, Mr Kalepa commended the financial loaning firm for identifying the need to provide financial services not only to those in formal employments but also to small businessmen and women from all walks of life.
He also expressed delight that the firm got into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kyawama, Mitec and Main Markets so that the marketers can access soft loans without having to go through hefty requirements.
Mr Kalepa said that the MoU will enable local businesses in the district thrive thus contributing to the national coffers.
He noted that companies such as Zangena Capital Limited are welcome in the district as they will enable development through their support to small businesses.
