North Western Province Agricultural Coordinator Muyobo Shimabale has urged farmers to continue adopting new farming technologies if they are to improve their crop production and take farming as a business.
Mr. Shimabale has further challenged farmers in the province to embrace smart agriculture as a way of mitigating climate change and to grow different crops to promote agricultural diversification.
The Provincial Agricultural Coordinator was speaking when he graced the Farmer Field Day held in Mufumbwe District.
Mr. Shimabale said this year’s field day attracted more seed companies which play a critical role in a farmer’s life through exchanging new farming technologies to improve their agricultural production.
