Forest Rangers appoints new executive

 The Zambia Forestry and Forest Industries Corporation (ZAFFICO) has appointed Ray Mumba and Mulawo Mwaba as Chairperson and Vice Chairperson respectively, for Forest Rangers Football Club.

Acting Managing Director and Patron of the Club Brian Mutale said the appointments follow the resignation of Charles Kapoma as Chairperson and demise of the Vice Chairperson Chota Ngalande.

Mr Mumba is the Financial Accountant for the Corporation while Mr Mwaba is the Corporations’ Legal Counsel.

Speaking during a meeting with the Clubs Executive Mutale urged the new leadership to ensure that Forest Rangers gets itself to its formidable form which saw it qualify to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League.

“The Ndola based Club enjoys support from soccer fans across the country and I challenge you to improve its performance and maximise shareholder value investment in the Club,” he said.

He urged the new Executive who will serve a term of four years to implement innovative ventures and secure partnerships to supplement the Corporations support.

Mutale thanked the out-going Executive for the service rendered to the Club. Other members of the Executive will be announced in due course.
