ZESCO cables cuts, fails to roadshed Kansanshi FC

Super Division side Kansanshi Dynamos football club yesterday humiliated the power utility ZESCO united FC by two goals to nil (2-0) in a week-23 MTN/ FAZ league played at home ground in Solwezi.

Kansanshi through the Newly signed Kenyan striker and former Zesco United Jackson Jesse Were punished his immediate past Head coach Numba Numamba by broking the deadlock in 42 minutes and Kansanshi took a lead.

The brace goal from were pilled more pressure on coach Numamba and Zesco failed to equalize the first half which ended 1-0 in favor of Kansanshi.

Zega Mambo ran riot in the second half but the Mabanga boys dominated the game.

In 83 minutes Jesse Were doubled the lead making it 2-0 in favor of them.

Kansanshi Dynamos proved themselves by beating the second MTN Supper league leaders ZESCO United 2-0.

ZESCO United is on third position on the log with 38 points while kansanshi Dynamos are on 13 position with 28 points.

Speaking in a post match interview, ZESCO Head Coach Numba Numamba blamed himself and the players for failing to utilize the chance that were created.

Numba said that his team controlled the game but could not put the ball at the back of the net.

And kansanshi Dynamos Head coach Boyd Mulwanda said that a win is a motivation to the team.

Mulwanda said that the boys played as a team and managed to collect Maximum points.
