Four Churches and Nine houses in Solwezi were destroyed by heavy Tropic storm Anna over the weekend.
The churches had they roofs blown off on January 30, 2022 between 15:00 hours and 17:00 hours.
And North Western Province Deputy Police Commissioner Fred Mulenga said the churches involved were Life Gospel Church, Pentecostal Revelation Church, National Baptist church and CMML church all of Kyawama area.
Dr Mulenga said that all the churches also had their roofs blown off.
He said that there was only one victim identified as Frazier Kamalamba 29, of Baptist National church and he sustained a cut on the head after the plank had fallen on him
“The victim was rushed to the hospital and is currently home in a stable condition,” he said.
