North Western Province Deputy Commissioner of Police Fred Mulenga has confirmed the Development to The Independent Observer that a 12-year-old girl went to class with a U S.A. police tear gas ejector and gave it to a-12-year-old boy a fellow classmate and told him that it was perfume.
Dr Mulenga said that the pupil sprayed the strimmer which chocked the pupils in the class.
He said that Police rushed to Solwezi training teaching college clinic and found 20 grade 7 pupils being attended to by the medical personnel and in a stable condition.
Dr Mulenga said the strimmer has been recovered and investigation has been launched as to where she got the strimmer.
