Kasompe ward Councillor Martin Lombe says Zesco power utility company has terribly failed the residents of Kasompe as power is lost regularly without warning.
Mr Lombe said that Kasompe Township has been badly affected in power cuts from time to time there are in the dark.
He said Zesco should come out in the open and declare load shedding and come up with a schedule rather than the random power cuts inconveniencing people.
Mr Lombe said businesses are affected and not operating normally.
“As an Area Councillor and the community at large we not happy with the kind of kind of treatment in terms power outage, we humbly request the Minister of energy to intervene and correct the situation,” he said.
And According to Zesco the line that supplies Kasompe has a fault and that they are working on it.
