Golden Party of Zambia (GPZ) President
Silavwe Jackson says Zesco needs home grown solutions not IMF prescribed programmes.
Mr Silavwe said the last time IMF intervened in the economic affairs the country faced unimaginable joblessness and poverty levels.
He said the UPND Government should not be in a hurry to unbundle ZESCO the IMF way.
“The Government must call for an indaba over ZESCO or the President must appoint a commission of inquiry. ZESCO can run on profitability without IMF prescriptions if takeout politics,” he said.
