Police in Lusaka have arrested Patriotic Front cadre Maxwell Chongo for unlawful wounding.
The former Big Brother Africa envoy unlawfully wounded two men with a machete on March 4,2017.
Police Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga confirmed in a statement that the victims were attacked by the accused in North-mead area near Total filling Station.
“Police have charged and arrested Chongo, 40 of house number 1223 Sugar Street Avondale for two counts of Unlawful wounding.
“It is alleged that on March 4, 2017, Chongo unlawfully wound Richard Sinonge aged 37 by inflicting a deep cut on his left ankle and Innocent Nyambe, 32 a deep cut on the stomach whilst using a machete,”he said.
Mr Hamoonga said the accused is in police custody and will appear in court soon.
