Sangwa urges residents to participate in National Affairs

By IREEN MULENGA
Constitutional lawyer State Counsel John Sangwa has called on Zambians to get involved in the Governance of the country and hold the leaders accountable.

Mr Sangwa said that it is the responsibility of every Citizen to participate in the affairs of the country for it to develop.

“The problem with this country is that we vote and we go to sleep, we only wake and realize that the country is being run by  cadres, the time you ask yourself how it happened it’s too late, so let us be awake and hold Government  leaders accountable,” he said.

He has also alleged that President Hakainde Hichilema does not give the much anticipated confidence to citizens, looking at how he handled affairs of the country in his stay in power.

Mr Sangwa said the hope and excitement he expressed for the New Dawn Government is no longer there

Mr Sangwa has charged that Zambia lack quality leadership that calls for enormous involvement from all citizens.
