Dear Editor,
Following the pronouncement made by his excellence President Hakainde Hichilema that local government equalization fund has been paid to all the 116 councils across the country,
I welcome the move and therefore wish to advise the the civic leaders and all the CDF committees to ensure that the funds are channeled to intended projects.
Our people were promised to have improved welfare through quality health care , infrastructure development etc, so the time is now to ensure that tangible things are done and no need of giving excuses which will make people to question the leadership in place.
And as champions of development, we shall be attentive and pay a very close attention so that misappropriating of funds is avoided.
