Zambia National Building Society (ZNBS) has re-launched its newly refurbished Chingola Branch offices.
Speaking during the re-launch held at the Chingola Branch, ZNBS Managing Director Mildred Mutesa said that the new branch has been designed to meet the increasing demand and expectations of its customers.
Ms Mutesa said that ZNBS is working on having a dedicated team to resolve customer complaints on time, among other resolves to provide good customer care.
She said that the bank has also made enhancements in their digital footprint, through the implementation of Mobile Money, online banking and agency banking channels.
“The society has continued to drive its vision “To be the leading housing finance institution with premier banking in the Zambian financial markets” which does not only entails focusing on enabling more Zambians to own houses, but also providing affordable housing and other baking services,” she said.
Speaking at the same event, ZNBS Chairperson David Nawa said that corporate clients and strategic partners can now transact more seamlessly at their convenient with the new electronic funds transfer system.
Mr Nawa said that empowering the people across the country with housing is one of the banks top priorities.
He said that the society bank strategic focus areas will continue to be providing affordable housing, strengthening partnerships with long term providers to allow affordable mortgages, as well product design where enhanced offering of product solutions.
Mr Nawa said that ZNBS has continued to render financial services and banking services to not just the mining community, but also the defense wings, civil service and other private sector institution.
“Approximately 4,000 customers in Chingola remain committed to offering our banking mortgage finance services to more individuals and SME/ corporate customers,’’ he said.
And Chingola Mayor Johnson Kang’ombe, who was the Guest of Honor, commended ZNBS for refurbishing the Chingola branch.
Mr Kang’ombe said that the new modern facility is a step closer in making Chingola a city.
He implored other business owners in the district to emulate the refurbishing of ZNBS so that the face of Chingola is lifted to modern standards.
