By IREEN MULENGA
The Minister of Youth, Sports and Art Elvis Nkandu has refuted allegations from opposition parties stating that the new dawn Government is fighting corruption based on tribal lines.

Mr Nkandu who is also UPND Kaputa Member of Parliament has called on the opposition to understand that the Government is not targeting anybody.

He said that all those that have allegedly stolen from Zambians will be prosecuted regardless of their tribe.

He said the UPND will not change its stance on its fight against corruption.

“Zambians are expecting a lot from us and for sure Zambians want to see a free corrupt nation. The youths want to benefit that’s why we want to see all the projects on the Copperbelt,” he said.

Mr Nkandu was speaking when he paid a courtesy call on Mufulira Mayor Tanaeli Kamanga yesterday.

And Mufulira Mayor Tanaeli Kamanga has implored those serving in public offices in Mufulira and the nation at large to work  according to the expectations of residents as opposed to engage themselves in corrupt practices.
