Police have formerly charged and arrested former Home Affairs Minister Steven Kampyongo 49, with six others.
Mr Kampyongo of house Number 31 Kudu road Kabulonga in Lusaka has jointly been charged and arrested with six others for the offence of Endangering the Safety of Civil Aircraft in flight or Service with its passengers on board.
Police Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga has identified the other six as Andrew Kampyongo 41, James Sungu Mulenga 53, Cephas Mwaba 32.
Others are Philip Sinkala 25, Ignitius Musonda 38, and Augustine Kapolyo, all from Shiwang’andu.
Mr Hamoonga said the offence is allegedly to have been committed on January 21, 2015 at Kalalantekwe school ground in Shiwang’andu District.
He said they appeared in court yesterday in Chinsali.
