Foundation for Democratic Process (FODEP) Executive director George Chimenbe has commended President Hakainde Hichilema for his continued travel with a lean delegation.
Mr Chimembe said that this is meant to serve public resources that can be channeled to key sectors like Health and Education where is committed to employ more staffs.
“The PF MP’s must look at the president bigger picture of reviving the economy which was run down due to carelessness by the same PF functionaries, when it comes to advise there is nothing wrong that can stop the president from engaging advisors who remain behind whenever need arises,” he said.
Reacting to a statement by some PF Members of Parliament who claims that the president trips consist of lean entourage leaving key staff, Mr Chimembe said that the advice made by the PF officials lacks merit and should not be considered by well meaningful Zambians.
