North Western Provincial Minister Robert Liefu says that 33,332 persons are living with HIV/AIDS in Solwezi.
Mr Liefu also said those are enrolled on ART lifesaving drug.
He said that there are some factors which are not thought of but they breed inequalities including lack of standardized HIV high impact intervention monitoring system.
Mr Liefu said Government is committed to ending inequalities in all the spheres of life to get the country back on course to economic recovery and achieve the goal of ending AIDS by 2030.
The Provincial Minister said this in a speech read for him by Solwezi Municipal Council Mayor Remmy Kalepa during the commemoration of world AIDS Day under the theme; End Inequalities, End AIDS and End Pandemics held at solwezi city mall.
