Lets put Human Rights aside and get  vaccinated-former Nchanga Councilor

Former Nchanga ward Councillor in Chingola Abed Lubumbe has called on the people of Chingola and the nation at large to stop politicizing the Covid-19 vaccines and get vaccinated.

Speaking in an interview with the Independent Observer, Mr Lubumbe said that this is not the time to talk about human rights but to Roll up the sleeves, fight Covid-19 by getting vaccinated.

Mr Lubumbe said the Covid-19 is real and people should protect themselves and their families.

He said it is the responsibility of every Citizen to play their role in the fight against the pandemic.

Mr Lubumbe said the anticipated fourth wave is deadly and the Government is doing is their best to ensure lives are protected.

“ Am a living testimony when it comes to Covid-19, I would have died by now if not for the vaccine, I was the victim of the pandemic and I stayed in the hospital for two weeks and I witnessed how people died in Nchanga General Hospital. So let’s all get vaccinated because prevention is better than cure,” he said.

Mr Lubumbe has urged the communities to take the Covid-19 seriously and follow the guidelines put in place by the Health Authority.
