The Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) has instituted investigations into the alleged fraudulent issuance of Driving Licences at Ridgeway Driver Examination Centre in Lusaka.
RTSA Head of Public Relations Fredrick Mubanga depending on the outcome of the investigation in this matter, the agency may consider ordering re-tests for all Driving Licence applicants who may be found wanting.
Mr Mubanga said this position is backed by the law governing the operations of the agency.
He said RTSA is also concerned with the increase in corrupt people impersonating its officers in order to extort money from the public.
Mr Mubanga said those who will be found wanting will be prosecuted.
