Energy minister Peter Kapala has dissolved the Board of Directors of the Energy Regulation Board (ERB) and Rural Electrification Authority (REA) has been dissolved with immediate effect.
Mr Kapala dissolved of the two Boards today
“By virtue of being the appointing authority and in line with established law, I hereby withdraw the appointment to the Board of the Energy Regulation Board (ERB) and Rural Electrification Authority (REA)”, said he said.
Mr Kapala has since thanked all those who served on the boards for the service rendered and has wished them well in their future endeavors.
This is according to a statement issued by the Permanent Secretary at Ministry of Energy Veronica Mwice.
