Opposition Party for National Unity and Progress (PNUP) Leader Highvie Hamududu has called for concerted efforts from all political parties in order to put an end to caderism which has become a rife in the country.
Mr Hamududu stressed on the need for the new dawn government to lead by example by swiftly acting on issues to do with caderism as opposed to issuing statements that do not offer any solutions.
“We all have to sit together as political parties to see how best we can do to stop caderism so that tomorrow when we are power the issue of caderism should continue, so the time to act is now,” he said.
He said the issue of caderism has not helped the country in anyway, hence the need to end it.
Mr Hamududu has since appealed to Government and President Hichilema to act fast, adding that it is the Party in power that intimidates others
