Police in Mansa have rearrested three suspects, who had escaped with 15 others from lawful custody on September 17, 2018.
Those arrested are Prince Chinyanta who was charged with rape and aggravated robbery, Ephraim Kombe charged with robbery and Sidney Musongole who was facing a charge of theft.

Police Spokesperson Esther Katongo has confirmed the rearrests of the trio to The Independent Observer.
Ms Katongo said all the suspects have been charged with escape from lawful custody contrary to section 119 of the Penal Code Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia.
She said a man hunt has continued.
