Buildcon will continue working hard- Coach

By CHINOYI CHIPULU

Buildcon Coach Boyd Mulwanda says his team will continue working hard in order to silence critics who are questioning their bright start to the season.

The Ndola giants have won their opening three matches and will make it on a trot if they overcome Kafue Celtic tomorrow.

Buildcon had a torrid time assembling the team for the season following the departure or the core of the team.

The Moses Mubanga sponsored side were the last ones to commence pre-season training as they were busy sorting out player retention and clearing out those whose contracts ended.

But Mulwanda said in an interview that Buildcon will not pay attention to their critics but will instead continue grinding results to sustain their leadership status.

“Everyone has got an opinion, others will say it’s a fluke, others will say it’s not but we will keep on fighting until we confuse them.

“The winning spirit will continue looking at the way the boys are fighting and we have not yet answered our critics, we will keep fighting,” he said.

Buildcon last Wednesday beat Forest Rangers 2-1 to move to nine points.

Before that, Team Kopala as they are fondly called by their fans beat Green Eagles 2-1 in Choma on the opening day of the season and registered their second successive victory the following week after beating Prison Leopards 1-0 at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.
