The Energy Regulation Board says the fuel Tankers which were procured for the purposes of Youth empowerment by the Ministry of Sports were provisionally allowed to operate for a temporary period of time.
ERB Acting Public Relations Manager Musonda Chibulu said that as a result of an MOU which was signed with the ministry of Sports and Kapekisa the tankers were registered under Kapekisa Energy and Logistics.
Mr Chibulu said that the company was then required to apply for a license to transport petroleum products which it has done as it awaits to hear from ERB.
He said ERB has strict condition for giving out licenses and any company violating the provision of the license should be reported.
