Police in Lusaka have arrested a 23- year old woman for allegedly stabbing her husband to death after a domestic dispute.
Police Spokesperson Esther Katongo has identified the woman as Pauline Banda of Lusaka’s Misisi Compound.
Ms Katongo said Banda is alleged to have stabbed her husband Moses Mumbi, 22 to death using a knife.
she said the incident occurred on September 16, 2018 around 17:30 hours in John Laing compound after a domestic dispute.
“The body of the deceased was found in a pool of blood by his young brother who later reported the matter to Police and upon checking the body; it was found with a deep cut on the left side of the chest. The suspect is in Police Custody and has since been warned cautioned for the offence of Murder,” she said.
Ms Katongo said the body of the deceased is lying in the University Teaching Hospital awaiting postmortem.
