Chipolopolo Patron pastor Peter Makembo has described a 2 – 0 loss against Tunisia as a setback towards Zambia’s aspiration to qualify to the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
Makembo said that the loss to Tunisia at home ground was not impressive and it is a draw back for Zambia to qualify to the world cup.
“We lost to Tunisia and it’s a wakeup call for the team and the coach to work on the team before we meet Equatorial Guinea in the first round,” he said.
Speaking in an interview with The Independent Observer, Makembo is however confident that Zambia will be able to collect maximum points from both Equatorial Guinea and Tunisia in their away matches.
And Chipolopolo defender Rodrick Kabwe said that Zambia still have a chance to qualify to the world cup despite the loss at home ground against Tunisia
