The Emerald Semi-Precious Stones Mining Association of Zambia-President victor Kalesha has congratulated the newly elected Ministers and newly appointed Minister of mines Paul Kabuswe and urged him to deliver to the expectation of majority Zambians.
Mr Kalesha has advised Mr Kabuswe to be consultative and engage other stakeholders in order for the mining sector to thrive under his ministry.
“As the small scare mining, we would like to urge Mr Kabuswe to have a listening ear, and he should know what is happening on the ground himself rather than listening to other people,” he said.
Mr Kalesha has appealed to Mr Kabuswe to immediately get to work and start meeting people and the mining companies if he has to succeed in that area.
He has also congratulated the newly appointed Copperbelt Province Minister Elisha Matambo.
He said Mr Matambo is hard working and he has the capacity to deliver.
