The South African Airways -SAA- has announced that it will resume its flight operations into Zambia on the 27th of this month.
Acting Chief Executive Officer, Thomas Kgokola has confirmed the resumption, saying the airline will be operating daily return flights to Lusaka.
Mr. Kgokola states that this is with the view of adding more destinations in response to market conditions.
He has told Zambia’s High Commissioner to South Africa Jackson Miti, that the resumption of flights into Zambia is part of the airline’s growth strategy.
And Major General Miti has expressed gratitude to the airline for resuming operations into Zambia.
General Miti said the coming on board of SAA will help increase tourist arrivals in Zambia.
He states that the Zambian government places great importance on the tourism sector in its diversification agenda.
