Veteran politician Vernon Mwaanga said Situmbeko Musokotwane is an excellent appointment to the Ministry of Finance.
Dr Mwaanga said Dr Musokotewne will add value to President Hichilema’s government.
Dr Mwaanga said the new finance minister is a consummate professional who believes in prudent management of public resources.
“I have worked with Dr Musokotwane in government and is highly respected by local and international financial institutions such as the IMF, World Bank, African Development Bank, he also brings impeccable economic credentials and expertise, which Zambia desperately needs at this difficult time of cleaning up the economy,” he said.
