Electorates urged to turn out in numbers

By IREEN MULENGA
The United Party for National Development (UPND) Parliamentary candidate for Kansanshi Constituency Mufulira, Mukwenya Ng’andu has urged the people to turn out in numbers on Thursday general elections.

Dr Ng’andu alleged that the Patriotic Front-PF-has instilled fear among electorates with the violence that have been happening in the country.

He has also charged that PF have instigated violence with a view to cause voter apathy during the polls.

“The PF Government knows that our support is overwhelming as UPND and they want to put fear in people so that they reduce the votes,” he said.

Dr Ng’andu has appealed to electorates to turn out in numbers to ensure that their vote counts so that PF can be dislodged from government after the August, 12, polls.

He has urged the people of Kansanshi to vote for him and the Party president Hakainde Hichilema for Zambia to move forward.
