The Civil Society Constitution Agenda (CiSCA) has demanded for the immediate arrest of Mr Chishimba Kambwili the PF cadre who has continued tribal hate speech against the people from Southern province.
CiSCA Chairperson Judith Mulenga said that if he is left like that, he may plug this country into civil strife.
Ms Mulenga said that her organization has noted that Mr Kambwili has continued to use hate speech on the people from southern province breaking the law with impunity.
She said that he has broken the law of the land and he his liable for persecution and the relevant authority should do something.
Ms Mulenga said that the people he uses tribal remarks on have never used any tribal remarks on him.
“In 2016 when he was information minister he issued an alarming statement claiming that Tonga chiefs were planning succession which has not happened. He later went to apologize to the same people, but then again he has gone back on his words,” she said.
She said that CiSCA said would like to urge media houses not entertain Mr Kambwili as he should desist from such behavior and sell his party manifesto without using hate speech.
