Patriotic Front Parliamentary candidate for Lufwanyama constituency Don Mungulube has promised to change the face of Lufwanyama by industrializing the area once given the mandate.
Speaking in an interview with The Independent Observer, Mr Mungulube said that the area has got mines that require locally driven industrialization.
He said industrialization would spur social economic development and job Creation for the youths and the all constituency.
“Given the mandate on August 12, I will make sure that we engage the people of Lufwanyama and other stakeholders to develop the area so that the locals can benefit. We will also build houses to enable the people working from there to have accommodation from within area,” he said.
Mr Mungulube also said that he will promote the agriculture sector by introducing good farming methods in the area.
He also said that women are on top of the agenda for empowerment as cooperatives are being formed to ensure that there are not left behind.
Mr Mungulube who is also PF Copperbelt Provincial Youth Chairperson said that he has started promoting sports for the youths because it brings people together.
He said the Leadership of President Edgar Lungu has got a lot of empowerment programs in place which leaves no one behind and people should rally behind the PF Government for the betterment of this nation.
Mr Mungulube has called on the Zambian people to turn up in numbers to go and cast their votes in this year’s general elections.
