Power Dynamos appoints Masautso Tembo as head

Super Division side Power Dynamos have appointed Masautso Tembo as head coach ahead of the forthcoming season.
The Kitwe outfit announced the appointment of Tembo who was Perry Mutapa’s assistant in a statement issued by the club media team.
Tembo replaces Mutapa who left the team on mutual separation after being sent on leave.
Mutapa joined the team in 2019 on a two year contract from Forest Rangers but was sent on leave in  May due to a string of poor results.
“Power has appointed Tembo as head coach in an interim capacity untill further notice. The club wishes Tembo and his entire technical bench success as he leads the team into the 2021-2022 season,” the statement read.
This will be the first time Tembo will be leading a Super Division side from the start of the season.
Tembo worked as assistant to Mutapa at Lusaka Dynamos,Forest and Power.
The former international will be assisted by George Chilufya,Ronald Mukosha, Yusuf Lumu and Noble Bwalya at Arthur Davies Stadium.
