Kalulushi Municipal Council through the Public Health department yesterday embarked on a cleaning exercise along President Avenue road in order to keep the district clean.
Chief Health inspector Claire Mwape said that the main objective of the cleaning exercise is to make and keep President Avenue as clean as possible being one of the main roads in the district.
“ The cleaning exercise will be taking place once a week aside from the Keep Zambia Clean, Green and Health campaign exercise which is held every last Saturday of the month,” she said.
The exercise was led by the Chief Health Inspector Claire Mwape who also participated in racking litter which was later dumped at Kalulushi dumpsite.
