Airtel achieves ISO certificate

By MAIMBO MWEEMBA
Airtel Zambia has achieved the International Standardization for Organization (ISO) for information management systems and business continuity management system.

Airtel Zambia Managing Director Apoora Mehrotra says the information management system certification recognises the organization’s ultimate information security standards, approach to information security and privacy covering systems, processes, infrastructure
and data.

Mr Mehrotra said that the business continuity management system certificate recognises the organization’s quick ability to identify and priorities threats to business continuity such as cyber-attack and data breaches.

“The certification highlights Airtel’s dedication to improve customer experience and confidence while enhancing business processes and quality control, and the organization will continue to innovate and provide affordable services that benefit and develop its customers’ businesses and livelihoods”, he said.

This was according to a media statement issued by Mr Mehrotra.
