The Road Transport and Safety Agency ‘RATSA’ has extended the payment period for road tax due to Covid-19 Pandemic.
Head Public Relations Fredrick Mubanga said that the extended period is from June 30 to July 14, 2021.
Mr Mubanga said that there shall be no enforcement on the validity of Road Tax by the Zambia Police and RTSA until the stated grace period ends.
“In view of the escalating numbers of COVID-19 cases, clients are advised to access RTSA’s services including payment for Road Tax, through the Agency website www.rtsa.org.zm,” he said.
He has also urged to utilize this period to register for online payments under the Government Services Bus (GSB) and Payment Gateway System in a bid to access RTSA’s services online.
