Konkola Blades are seeking to remain in the FAZ Super Division for many years to come after securing promotion at the end of the 2020/21 season.
Blade are the champions of the FAZ National Division One League.
Club President Cornelius Chimbanga has told KCM media that the team overcame many challenges to return to the top league.
“We are very mindful of the fact that the premier league is competitive and we need to go back and relook at our strategy, bring in fresh ideas and thoughts,” Chimbanga said.
“Our expectations are realistic. We intend to stay in the Super League because we believe that is where we belong.”
Chimbanga added:”We want our players to remain focused and disciplined, enjoy football and the exposure to better football.”
Earlier in the season, Konkola won the inaugural FAZ Copperbelt Provincial Cup after beating Ndola United in the final played at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.
